Especially the center of Tuscany offers untouched nature and ancient villages with stone built houses. The charming towns and cities are filled with beautiful architecture.
You’ll find a huge variety of delicious food and some of the best vineyards worldwide. The tuscan cuisine is known for being simple but with quality ingredients. Apart from the typical italian food such as pasta you’ll find meats and selected vines such as Chianti.
Tuscany has all year round mild climate and very few rainy days. Therefor it is pretty much ideal for getting married. There is almost 100% guarantee that you’ll have sun when being in Tuscany.
HOW TO GET TO TUSCANY?
Tuscany is easily accessible from several airports, and depending on where you’re coming from, you have a few options. If you’re looking to get there directly, the Pisa International or the Florence Airport are your best bets. Both are located within the region of Tuscany, so once you land, you can grab a rental car and be on your way in no time.
If you’re flying in from further afield, Rome Leonardo da Vinci or the Bologna Airport are two other great options. These larger airports are more frequented, making them a good choice if you’re looking for more flight options or if you’re planning on making a pit stop in one of these cities before heading to Tuscany.
Another option to get to Tuscany is by car. Estimating you are coming from Germany, Switzerland, Austria or France that’s also a convenient option. Obviously you’ll safe a lot of time and stress if you hire a professional wedding planner, who is specialized for Tuscany. I’d recommend getting a wedding planner when you plan for a bigger wedding and if you don’t have a lot of knowledge of the area. A planner can help you to find the ideal venue within days and you don’t have to do the research on your own. The planner also knows the right vendors such as catering, florist, decoration or wedding photographer.
If you are planning a smaller wedding or even an elopement, I would say you don’t necessarily need a wedding planner.
