Crafted for Lightroom Classic, NOIR is a black & white preset made to reduce, refine, and reveal. It was created for photographers who believe that less can say more. With a cinematic finish and honest tones, NOIR delivers timeless black & white edits that feel intentional — not just desaturated.
It comes in two curated versions:
- NOIR SUBTLE – soft, honest, understated
A subtle grayscale designed for emotional storytelling, natural light, and timeless portraits. Smooth transitions, elegant shadows, and creamy whites let your images speak gently, yet clearly. - NOIR DEEP – bold, punchy, deliberate
A more sculpted black & white look with higher contrast and crisper depth. Ideal for editorial moments, direct light, and frames that demand presence

Absolutely. NOIR SUBTLE is ideal for emotional, documentary-style moments, while NOIR DEEP shines in stronger light and bolder scenes. Both are excellent for weddings, portraits, and personal storytelling.
Not at all. NOIR was designed to work out of the box. Both versions give you a strong base look that you can tweak as needed — whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned pro.
It works with both. For best tonal control and dynamic range, RAW is recommended — but the preset also enhances JPEGs with elegance.
You’ll receive both NOIR SUBTLE and NOIR DEEP as .xmp files, a quick-start installation guide, and as bonus my four favorite grain settings.
